Doobie Shemer's incredible life journey began in his birthplace, Kibbutz Givat-Brener, Israel. Yearning to explore life's meanings, he has traveled widely and experienced many cultures--mystical India, beautiful Cyprus and the oriental South Korea -- before making his home in California, where he is practicing shamanic, journeying for others.
The story is more closely aligned with Graham's King City than with Prophet, but the wild concepts should appeal to fans of the latter. Now please Ms. I hope to eventually get the whole collection. And then there was some random sex with a guy , bondage, etcetera, etcetera. I think he liked it, but no real feedback was available.. I also found the layout and style slightly confusing.
It's not a bad book, but it's not really clear what the book's purpose is. So while your getting great artwork by Colon, Golden and Buesema, you're also getting the embarassing Playduck issue. I am a visual person, and so I "see" the words when they are spoken. Kane, for this love letter to the old neighborhood and some good and not-so-good (embarrassed a bit by some of the joke references, but I have to admit that my dad and most of my friends dads did the same thing, Not saying it was right, but that was the way it was at that time).
