Now a seasoned veteran of expat life, Mr. Harling turns his eye toward the minutiae of his daily existence and the foibles that challenge his sanity both as a newly minted British citizen and as a human being. More Postcards From Across the Pond is a chronicle, not so much about what divides us, but what makes us the same.
The title lead me to believe that working through this book will enable me to develop Android Apps using Eclipse (with Java, which is not explicitly stated in the title but is a fair assumptions given Java's predominant role in Android application development).
After I had worked myself through about 180 pages (more than 50% of the book), I had completed exactly one example application. A mix of easy to very intricate designs. The only finished portion of the book, Part 1 of Book 1 is also the most important. As Cathy and Jack begin to fall in an impossible love, Ken turns even more nasty and boorish if that is possible.
