The author doesn't claim to cover the topic in any depth and he doesn't. Better yet, pick up the Cook book Concepts and Applications of Finite Element Analysis, 4th Edition if you want some real instruction on applications and implementation.
The title should have included the words "for elliptic PDEs", as that is all that is covered. I wonder if the next book (if there is one) will follow Maya and her past and future. *** - Review: a little too long in getting to the conclusion, but still well-written and holds your interest; constructed as diary entries by the professor.
