Welcome to my K.I.S.S Quick Bites introduction to raised bed gardening. K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) Is part of a series of introductions to the world of homesteading and self-sufficiency. Like the other books in this series it covers the main points about organic growing, with reference to organic pest control and how to feed your plants without the need for chemical fertilizers. There are a lot of new terms are thrown out at you in the beginning with the Light Hunters and the Shadow Hunters and it can be somewhat disorienting but you catch your balance pretty quickly and everything is explained in its time.
This is a fast paced novel that will not leave you bored, there is plenty going on to hold your attention. I tagged along while Molly navigated senior year, friendship, love, Catholicism, and the struggles of being a 'county' girl. Sometimes, it's easier to live with what might have been rather than what actually was.
I would recommend this book for young adults, of course. Thereafter comes a chapter by Tom Witten, which beautifully strings together the concepts of fractals, random walks, phase behavior into a discussion on the behavior of polymers in solution. Another good book on prenatal yoga is Janet Balaskas' Preparing for Birth with Yoga. Even as a yoga instructor, I found myself at a loss when trying to structure pregnancy practices.
