Obviously, it was an error of judgement on my part and with such a cover, I should have anticipated such scenes, but I can't help but have them affect my rating and my enjoyment of this book. After reading the first, supposedly intimate, coupling I was totally through. I bought this for a future gift for my scientifically-inclined son. Today, in 2000, I enjoy these recipes regularly (I do add some salt back, and take a cue from Andrew Weil's "Spontaneous Healing" with regard to olive oil) and review this information from time to time to gauge my progress.
