Codex Regius is a pseudonym and label of a pair of two authors from Slovenia and Germany, respectively. They are also using the label ‘Romanike’ for their series of historical novels set in the Roman Empire. One author is a university engineer of chemistry and, before both set up a freelance translation business, has spent her time trying to convey the wonders of the Periodic Table to mostly unreceptive students. The other is a graduate of physical engineering and former technical editor. Both are working from home, which the children find very convenient when they come from school. The two authors of Codex Regius are married to each other and still trying to find a common language.
An excellent exploration from the wife's point of view of her husband's response to monsters, real or imagined.
The House on Ashley Avenue, by Ian Rogers: 5 stars. The story of Folkways and Moses Asch traces the rise of jazz, folk music, and a general awareness of sound as a vital part of human culture. The only real expert here is Evan Schwartz
I would've paid TWICE as much for this book. I only chose this book because it was available through my college alumni library, while Granger was checked out. He is very detailed, telling stories about all of the people at court. It's mostly about giving very clear direction, staying calm and letting your child know that you as the parent are ready to take control no matter what.
We are no longer giving him anything to fight against and it works. Hamilton didn't get to tell his story because different animals showed up wanting to be in the story. You will really enjoy it!!. I would highly recommend Food Rebellions! for thos
