I would rather have my students fork over an extra $15 for a book they will actually read and learn from than buy a slightly cheaper paperweight.
As a Set Designer, I teach Lighting Design as a second language, so to speak. the colors have also suffered. Obviously, it was an error of judgement on my part and with such a cover, I should have anticipated such scenes, but I can't help but have them affect my rating and my enjoyment of this book. I was surprised to learn some things I never knew even though I am an experienced parent! The book is easy to read and understand and I love the real life examples he gives.. And many more from this author!. There were inspiring chapters by authors already known to me - such as David Suzuki and Manfred Max-Neef - and also from authors I didn't previously know. It teaches everything from time management to money management, to your health. This reprint of "Woodward's National Architect of 1869" is the earliest example of its kind I've se
