This Prussian general and thinker Carl von Clausewitz is widely acknowledged as the most important of the major strategic theorists and this is one of the most important books on military strategy. Carl von Clausewitz's On War has influenced generations of generals and politicians. Reading his book is required at military academies today. This is a must read.
The author's focus goes beyond the very top students and includes above-average to average students (compare: Fat Envelope frenzy).
